Home Finance is a household money app. This page says what we keep and how you can take a copy.
What we store
- Your name, email, and a hashed password
- The household name and who belongs to it
- Accounts, categories, income, expenses, transfers, budgets, and bills
- Optional receipt photos on an expense
- Whether an income or expense is household or personal
Who can see it
People in the same household. View-only members can look, not change. We do not sell this data.
Cookies and email
A signed session cookie keeps you logged in for 30 days. We email to confirm an address, reset a password, send a household invite, and remind you three days before a bill.
Allowed export
Signed-in household members can download income, expenses, and transfers as a CSV from Reports. That CSV is the allowed household export. Receipt photos, budgets, bills, and member lists are not in the file.
